Hangover Detox Workout
So you overindulged last night…does that mean you get a free pass to be lazy all day…NOPE!
You made the choice to put yourself in this position, now it’s time to make the choice to help your body rid itself of all the nasty toxins from the alcohol.
The best ways to do that are drink lots and lots of water (add some fresh lemon juice for extra benefits), fill your body back up with vitamins (in the form of veggies), and make your body SWEAT!
This is where the Hangover Detox workout comes in to play.
Once again, make sure you drink lots of water before this workout, during, and after as your body is already in a dehydrated state.
Here’s how the Hangover Detox Workout is structured:
No breaks. Move from one exercise to the next. Be sure to finish all the indicated reps before you move on to the next exercise (take a break if needed).
A1. Standing Rows x 15 reps
A2. Body weight squats x 50 reps
A3. Pushups x 30 reps
A4. Jumping Jacks x 75 reps
A5. Bicycle Crunches x 30 reps
A6. Alternating Forward Lunges x 20 reps/leg
A7. Mountain Climbers x 30 reps/leg
A8. High Knees x 50 total reps (25/leg)
Complete just 1 circuit. If you’re feeling really good…go for a 2nd round.
Well done. Once you’re finished, you should have a good “sweat on”. To replenish all those lost vitamins from the previous night out…try this “green juice detox drink” from my good friend Bex, over at BexLife.com.
