Food Wars: Sprouted Whole Grain Bread vs Whole Wheat Bread Video
In this episode of Live Lean TV’s Food Wars, I go to war with my old best friend…bread.
If you knew me back in college or when I was a kid, I lived on bread. 4 slices in the morning, a sandwich at lunch, rolls with dinner, and then more bread before bed.
I also battled a pudgy stomach (even though I had skinny arms and was an ectomorph) and bad acne.
Then I tried a test. I cut back on bread consumption in my diet. That was a major change for me. I didn’t like it at first…but I eventually got over it and started seeing fast results. Not just with fat loss, but also with clearer skin. It seemed my hormones no longer hated me!
Does that mean you should also get bread out of your diet? I cover all that and more, in this Food Wars video on: Sprouted Whole Grain Bread vs Whole Wheat Bread.
If you’re looking for faster results, I personally, along with many other fitness professionals, have seen drastic changes to their clients by cutting bread out of their diet.
However, if you just can’t bare the thought of living without bread…there are healthier alternatives.
If you only take one thing away from this video and blog, it should be this…
NOT ALL WHOLE GRAIN/WHEAT PRODUCTS ARE MADE THE SAME.
I want you to start looking at the ingredients label. Focus on breads that use 100% sprouted whole grains. These are free of preservatives, chemicals, and other nasty additives (which is why they need to be stored in the freezer).
For more examples and reasons why you should go with sprouted grains…

Food Wars: Sprouted Whole Grain Bread vs Whole Wheat Bread [Video]

Hi Brad,
My husband recently discovered after years of digestive pain that he is wheat intolernant, hence we have eliminated wheat from our diet ( I joined him to keep wheat out of our home, although I am not wheat intolerant). To his surprise, he received the added benefit of losing 10 lbs in 3 months ( mostly from his midsection) without dieting or eliminating alcohol (he loves his wine)
I too lost 5 lbs, we have more energy, and less hunger craving than before. I am now advising my son of 18 to try eliminating bread as he is unhappy with acne on his face. I think our entire society should try your advise on eliminating bread and see the healthy results!!!! LeeLee
Thanks so much for sharing this. It just re-affirms everything I’ve said. Keep up the great work and all the best.

I agree that bread needs to be taken out of the diet! I have noticed I have shedded more pounds and body fat not having a slice of bread for sandwiches and burgers. If I do buy bread, which is so rare, I do go for the sprouted whole grains like eziekel, just to mix things up a bit.
Way to go Kayleigh (i like your name BTW)…I love hearing results like that. Keep it going!
